39-1 Brief Review Examples

First, let's briefly review several examples of HOW/WHY the Unaware Brain and conscious brain are the causes of effects we've already addressed...

PORNOGRAPHY
In chapter 14 we covered pornography. Now we can see this is an issue where the Unaware Brain is being led by the individual's conscious brain.

The individual chooses to look at pornography and imagine (fantasize), both of which are done with the conscious brain. The Unaware Brain is looking for an objective and the conscious brain has provided one: look at pornography so the conscious brain can fantasize.

Now, every opportunity to look at porn will be pointed out by the Unaware Brain. The Unaware Brain will "juice" the individual towards doing this...and away from his wife if he is married. So, in addition to the husband making body parts of other women the standard his wife always loses to, his Unaware Brain is being trained to stop "juicing" him towards his wife.

JESUS' TEACHING
We also covered Jesus' Premiere Teaching (Matthew chapters 5-7) which culminated with the following summary:

"21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
28 And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine:
29 For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes." (Matthew 7:21-29)

Jesus concluded with the most critical issue: SAY vs. DO.

Jesus explained the people who SAY the right things don't necessarily make it to Heaven. Then Jesus supported this with an example. Notice, the difference between the two cases was NOT whether the person heard the Word of God...both cases covered a person who HEARD the Word of God. The difference was the DO.

Having a difference in your SAY and DO not only damages your conscious brain, it can result in eternal damnation.

STATEMENTS VS. QUESTIONS
We covered the difference between making a Statement and asking a Question. We also looked at Statements that Judge or Project.

Now, we can see if the person makes a Judgment or Projection with the conscious brain AND the individual does these same thing they are judging others for, the Unaware Brain recognizes a contradiction. Again, the Unaware Brain doesn't care this is the SIN of hypocrisy. The Unaware Brain is concerned the statement is contradictory, which is giving the Unaware Brain TWO conflicting objectives.

The Unaware Brain doesn't know whether to "juice" the person to live according to what they SAY or what they DO.

So, the Unaware Brain begins to shut down the individual until this contradiction is resolved...which can manifest as depression.

We saw Matthew chapter 7 began with Jesus having stated for us to judge NOT, lest we be judged. Now, we see the judgment is not just coming from God; it is coming from within ourselves...which is ALSO what God intended when He made us this way!

These are just three quick examples. Each of the following sections will look at an example in depth...
